Wanting to fill a void in Harrisburg's "Restaurant Row," the owner decided to create an upscale wine bar located in the heart of the Central Business District. BLS provided the lighting design for the entire project, from the bar and general seating area, to the private tasting room and meeting rooms, to the restrooms and private office. The main feature of the lounge area is a large fireplace that takes up an entire wall. Originally conceived with gas jets and flames, the concept was altered due to budgetary reasons; the BLS team stepped in to design a custom, color-changing lighting feature that invokes the feeling of a fireplace... with less of a chance of catching anything on fire.
